PSN Commercial Manager Ashley Fox said, “We are excited to be on site for the construction and fit-out of the £6.5m, 135-bedroom hotel beside The Irish World Heritage Centre in Manchester”.
“It is a prestigious scheme which will provide much-needed hotel accommodation for visitors to the complex and to the surrounding area, including Manchester Arena and the city centre.
“We have a team of highly-experienced professionals who are committed to delivering projects safely, on time and on budget. This project further underlines PSNs credibility in prominent developments across the region.”
Working a 7day week it would take a team of 4-5 painters 4 months to complete the 1st Phase alone and a further 15 painters to complete the 2nd and final Phase just in time for Christmas! All in all, a total of 135 bedrooms were completed as well as all corridors, lobbies, stairwells and the restaurant area.
PG Quantity Surveying Limited Director Peter Graves said. “It was a challenge working around the clock with multiple trades on site all at the same time but as a finishing trade it was a challenge that PSN in particular met head on with the hotel opening successfully on time for Christmas”.
