TMT Contractors are based in Stockport and only set up in 2012 as a limited commercial building contractor, since then they have grown year on year with personnel and work stream. PSN carried out our first contract for them in July 2016 and we are now forming a strong relationship to help them reach even bigger targets in the years to come.
We cleaned all the structural steel and applied undercoat and gloss as specified by the client.
The internal blockwork was previously un painted. We applied 2 coats of white masonry paint by airless spray to bring it up to a solid finish.
The fire doors were a dark blue colour and the client had specified they wanted them to be aztec yellow. We Mechanically sanded them with 110v palm sanders and applied 3 undercoat and one gloss to bring to the finish required.
The office areas were a mixture of old and new plasterwork. In the areas with old where previously papered we stripped the wide vinyl paper and backing off and washed down to remove any residue. We prepped the walls accordingly and applied 4 coats of white vinyl matt emulsion sanding down between coats to achieve the highest finish as possible.
The old woodwork was prepared by mechanically sanding it then applying white undercoat and gloss.
The new plaster work was mist coated using an airless spray machine and the denibbed and filled once dry. We applied 3 further coats of white vinyl matt emulsion once again sanding
between coats. All new woodwork was treated with knotting then a primer then two coats of undercoat followed by one gloss.
The aluminium windows were originally yellow in colour however the client preferred them to be grey. We degreased and prepped the windows then masking taped the glass so no overspray would occur. Using a HVLP spray machine we coated the windows in single pack primer then top coated them with semi-gloss topcoat steel and clad as the client has requested.
